We are bringing our paid media function in-house and are seeking an experienced, data-driven Paid Media Specialist to take ownership of our performance marketing strategy.

About the Role

As our in-house Paid Media Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, executing, optimising, and reporting on paid advertising campaigns across multiple platforms.

This role goes beyond campaign management. You will play a key role in shaping strategy, improving attribution, and driving scalable revenue growth across the business.

Working closely with our internal marketing and creative teams, you will ensure campaigns align with brand positioning, commercial goals, and customer acquisition targets.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who understands both the technical and strategic sides of paid media and is excited to take ownership of performance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, build, manage, and optimise Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Performance Max, and YouTube).

  • Manage and optimise Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) and Pinterest campaigns.

  • Conduct in-depth keyword, audience, and competitor research.

  • Work closely with the creative team to develop and test high-performing ad creatives, copy, and funnels.

  • Monitor daily performance and continuously optimise campaigns for CPA, ROAS, and conversion growth.

  • Implement and manage tracking through Google Tag Manager, GA4, and Meta Pixel, ensuring accurate attribution and reporting.

  • Develop performance dashboards and provide clear, commercially focused insights.

  • Identify opportunities to scale successful campaigns and improve overall marketing efficiency.

  • Contribute to internal systems, frameworks, and long-term performance strategy.

Must-Have Requirements

  • 5+ years experience managing paid media campaigns.

  • Strong expertise in Meta Ads strategy and optimisation.

  • Proven experience delivering measurable growth for SMEs or multi-location businesses.

  • Strong understanding of tracking, attribution, and conversion optimisation.

  • Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into actionable business decisions.

  • Strong communication skills and confidence in presenting performance results and strategic recommendations.

  • A growth mindset, focused on continuous improvement and measurable outcomes.

  • High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-focused approach.

  • A marketing degree or relevant qualification.

Highly Regarded

  • Experience managing Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Pinterest Ads, TikTok Ads, or LinkedIn Ads.

  • Experience building cross-platform paid media strategies.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and guide performance-driven marketing decisions.

  • Experience developing story-led creative strategies that accelerate campaign performance.

  • Previous experience working both agency-side and in-house.
