As we grow, we are looking for someone who enjoys building systems, improving workflows and helping a modern firm run better behind the scenes.

You might currently be a practice manager, senior bookkeeper or operations professional inside an accounting firm who enjoys improving systems and workflows.

You see opportunities to introduce better technology, automation and processes, but may not always have the opportunity to implement them.

The Role

We are looking for someone to help implement and improve the systems that support how Savvi operates and serves clients.

This is a hands-on role focused on improving workflows, introducing new tools and helping turn ideas into practical systems.

You will work closely with the founder to help implement new initiatives and improve how the practice operates as it grows.

While the role sits in the practice management area, this is not a traditional management position and does not involve managing a team.

It is ideal for someone who enjoys doing, building and improving, rather than delegating.

This is also an in-office role on the Gold Coast, where close collaboration with the team is important.

What You'll Be Doing

• Improving internal workflows and operational systems
• Helping implement new tools and systems within the practice
• Supporting the rollout of advisory and reporting systems for clients
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and organisation
• Supporting operational and compliance initiatives within the firm
• Assisting with marketing and communication coordination when needed
• Working closely with the founder to bring new ideas and initiatives to life

Experience That Matters

To be successful in this role you must have at least 3 years experience working inside an accounting or bookkeeping practice.

You should also have:

• a strong understanding of how accounting firms operate
• experience using accounting platforms such as Xero or similar systems
• strong organisational and operational thinking
• the ability to improve processes and implement systems

Candidates without accounting practice experience will not be considered.

Technology & AI

Savvi is actively exploring how technology, automation and AI can improve how an accounting practice operates and delivers services.

You do not need to be an AI expert.

However, you should be someone who is curious about technology and open to learning new tools that can improve how work gets done.
