About the Role

The Senior Accounts Officer supports the CFO by overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of Brastin Roofing and ensuring financial data across the business is accurate, reliable and well monitored.

This role plays an important part in identifying cost variances, reviewing job margins and highlighting financial risks early so the business can protect profitability and make informed decisions.

You will work closely with the General Manager and operational teams, helping maintain financial visibility across projects while ensuring strong financial oversight and reporting to the CFO.

A key part of the role is understanding how financial information connects to project performance, including job margins, supplier costs and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial operations oversight
• Supplier invoice review, pricing checks and cost allocation
• Job margin and Work in Progress monitoring
• Credit control and debtor management
• Payroll review and coordination
• Monthly financial reporting support
• Monitor variations and identify completed work not yet invoiced
• Identify financial risks, cost variances and process improvements
• Work closely with operations and sales

About You

• 5+ years’ experience in accounts or finance operations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate financial discrepancies
• Experience using accounting systems such as MYOB
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Comfortable working with operational teams to resolve issues
• Construction or trade industry experience will be highly regarded
