The picture

HARWELL. is a specialist permanent recruitment consultancy operating across construction, finance and executive, and labour hire in South East Queensland. The business has grown from a start-up to a team of 10-plus in under three years, with a reputation built on quality over volume and a brand that stands out in a crowded market.

This role exists because the business has outgrown ad hoc marketing. There is a real content and brand story to tell - candidate attraction, client engagement, social presence, and market positioning all need someone to own them. The person who takes this seat will work directly with the founding directors and sit at the centre of how HARWELL. presents itself to the construction and finance markets in QLD.

This is not a coordinator role. It is a hands-on marketing function with direct impact on revenue.

The role

  • Owning the end-to-end content calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, and email

  • Writing and publishing candidate marketing content and market intelligence pieces aligned to the HARWELL. brand voice

  • Managing the company's social media presence - copy, creative direction, and scheduling

  • Building and executing email campaigns to candidate and client databases

  • Supporting consultants with submission documents, candidate profiles, and presentation collateral

  • Tracking content performance and reporting on what drives engagement and inbound leads

  • Coordinating with external designers or contractors for branded assets where required

You will be embedded in the business, not in a silo. Your output will be visible daily across every vertical.

The offer

  • $75,000 - $85,000 + Super (aligned to experience)

  • Permanent, full-time

  • Gold Coast based - Nerang office

  • Direct access to founding directors - no middle layers

  • Small team where contribution is visible and rewarded

  • Flexible start date for the right person

What winning looks like

  • HARWELL.'s LinkedIn presence grows measurably within the first 90 days - follower growth, engagement rate, inbound enquiries

  • A repeatable content system is in place by month three - no more last-minute posts or inconsistent output

  • Consultants are supported with submission collateral that reflects the brand and reduces their admin load

You

  • 2-5 years in a marketing or content role, ideally in a professional services, recruitment, or B2B environment

  • Strong writer - comfortable adapting tone for different audiences and channels

  • Able to manage competing priorities without dropping the ball on quality or deadlines

  • Commercially aware - understands that marketing in recruitment exists to generate candidates, clients, and revenue

  • Self-directed - does not need to be told what to do each day

  • Experience with LinkedIn content and paid social highly regarded

  • Graphic design skills or experience with Canva/Adobe suite preferred

Why this role

HARWELL. has the brand, the story, and the market position - it needs the person to execute it consistently. If you have been doing strong work in a business that does not give you the scope to own the function, this is worth a conversation.

Apply now or email ****@harwell.au with your CV and a short note on what you would tackle first.
