About the role

We are seeking a full-time Office Accounts Person to join the team at All Coast Garage Doors' in Arundel, Queensland. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial accounts and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the business.

What you'll be doing

• Maintaining accurate financial records, including invoicing, accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Processing payroll and administering employee benefits

• Preparing financial reports and statements for management review

• Providing general administrative support, such as answering phone calls, responding to customer inquiries, and organising office supplies

• Liaising with external stakeholders, such as accountants and suppliers, to ensure financial obligations are met

• Implementing and maintaining efficient office procedures and systems

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in an office accounts or administrative role, ideally within the construction or trades industry

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail

• Proficiency in using accounting software, such as MYOB or Xero

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• Exceptional time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

• Familiarity with relevant legislation and compliance requirements for financial management
