The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting management, coordinating office procedures, maintaining efficient business operations, and ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness across the company.

This position is suitable for candidates seeking a long term career in office administration and business operations within a professional security services environment.


Task & responsibilities

  • Organise and coordinate office administration procedures and systems.
  • Develop, review and implement administrative policies and procedures.
  • Manage office budgets, records, databases, and reporting systems.
  • Coordinate staff rosters, timesheets, payroll information, and leave records.
  • Assist with recruitment administration, onboarding, and employee documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor contracts, service agreements, and business compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate purchasing of office supplies, equipment, and business resources.
  • Prepare business correspondence, reports, presentations, and management documents.
  • Maintain confidential personnel and operational records.
  • Support senior management with business planning and operational activities.
  • Ensure workplace health and safety, privacy, and recordkeeping requirements are met.
  • Assist with invoicing, accounts administration, and financial record management.
  • Oversee administrative staff and ensure efficient workflow within the office.

Qualification & experience

Applicants should possess:

  • AQF Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Management, Administration, or a related field; or
  • At least three years of relevant work experience in office management, administration, or business operations.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and business management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
