We are looking for a friendly, proactive and detail-oriented Administration and Student Support Officer to join our Gold Coast campus. This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of our student experience — perfect for someone who loves working with people and keeping things organised.
About the role
You will be the first point of contact for students and visitors, providing administrative support across the campus while delivering outstanding student services throughout the enrolment lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
Administration
Manage front desk, phone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner
Process student enquiries
Maintain student records and ensure data integrity in the student management system
Assist with scheduling, room bookings and coordination of class timetables
Prepare documents, letters and correspondence as required
Support students with their study journey
Liaise with trainers, management and external stakeholders as needed
Student support
Provide friendly, professional support to students throughout their enrolment journey
Monitor student attendance and follow up on absences in line with college policy
Assist students with course queries, payment plans and fee-related enquiries
Escalate student welfare concerns to the appropriate team member
Coordinate orientation activities for new students
Facilitate communication between students, trainers and management
Assist students in navigating their course requirements and assessment deadlines
About you
Previous experience in an administration or student support role
Warm, professional and student-centred approach
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of CRICOS or RTO environments desirable but not essential
