Role Service Manager
Salary Package: $140k–$150k + Super + Company Vehicle or Car Allowance
Location: Yatala, QLD
Hours: Mon–Fri 7:00am–5:00pm
Plus Domestic Travel required: Sydney & Melbourne
 
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead and coordinate service operations for a national power and industrial equipment business. This newly created role is perfect for someone with a trade background
who thrives on managing workshop teams, servicing, repairs, and equipment readiness. You’ll oversee a small, skilled team across multiple locations, ensuring all servicing and repairs meet OEM requirements and
Australian standards, while supporting operations in Sydney and Melbourne when required.
 
What You’ll Do
  • Lead and coordinate servicing and repairs for our fleet of generators and equipment
  • Schedule and plan maintenance, ensuring equipment is ready and compliant
  • Manage workshop workflow, timesheets, and parts availability
  • Support field teams and provide hands-on assistance when needed
  • Work closely with leadership to streamline processes and improve service performance
 
Who You Are
  • Trade-qualified: Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Diesel Mechanic, or Mechanical Fitter
  • Experience in hire or rental equipment operations is essential
  • Strong communication, time management, and leadership skills
  • Comfortable with hands-on work as required
  • Experience with tools like Power BI is a plus
  • Able to travel to Sydney and Melbourne as needed
