The Company:

Max Door Solutions, a division of the BX Bunka Group, is offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and dynamic person to join our business as a Service Technician, with full on-the-job-training provided.

As a Service Technician, you will work carry out a combination of service work, systems troubleshooting, repairs and installations for our QLD  customer base.

Key Responsibilities include:

·         Service, repair, install and maintain Industrial Doors, High Speed Automatic Doors, Panel Lift Doors

·         Assess electro-mechanical faults and provide solutions

·         Complete comprehensive and accurate service reports detailing the repairs completed, parts used and time onsite

·         Strong commitment towards safe work practices

·         Professionally liaise with customers and colleagues, ensuring service expectations are met

·         Maintain and manage your allocated service vehicle, parts and tools

 Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have:

·         A minimum 2 years minimum experience in a similar service role (experience with Automatic Door operation, door controllers, drive systems, electronic and mechanical assemblies viewed favourably)

·         Fork licence, EWP and manual driver's licence

·         Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

·         Be technically minded with a high level of mechanical aptitude

·         Ability to read and interpret diagrams and product manuals

·         High attention to detail and takes pride in quality of work

·         Electrical disconnect-reconnect desirable

·         The ability to work well under pressure and with a sense of urgency

·         A good level of computer literacy with Outlook proficiency;

·         Enjoys building relationships with customers, professional with great communication skills

·         Be a team player and a customer service champion

·         Available full-time Monday – Friday and able to work overtime, weekends and some overnight away-from-home when required
