Our client is a Southeast Queensland company providing high quality building materials and tools for both trade professionals and retail customers. Continuing to expand we are pleased to be recruiting for a person experienced in warehousing and customer service to be working at their Biggara Waters store.

This is an all-rounder warehouse type position, someone who enjoys working as part of a small team.

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Operate forklifts safely to load and unload goods

  • Receive, check and put away incoming stock accurately

  • Pick, pack and prepare customer orders efficiently

  • Assist walk-in customers with product enquiries and order fulfilment

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock control processes

  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and replenishment

  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe at all times

  • Work closely with the sales team and store managers to ensure smooth daily

To be considered:

  • Valid forklift licence, drivers licence. Can drive a high reach forklift

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations and/or building materials industry preferred

  • Ability to provide good customer service and communicate clearly

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks

  • Reliable, punctual and responsible

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Basic computer skills (for inventory and order systems)

  • Can work on Saturdays

  • Tiling, waterproofing or flooring experience highly desirable but not essential
