Purpose of the Role

The Assistant Manager & Customer Service Coordinator supports the Centre Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the centre while delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role is responsible for assisting with staffing, sales, memberships, facility presentation, and operational processes to ensure the centre runs efficiently and provides a premium recovery experience for every member.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Member Experience
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with members and guests.

  • Respond promptly to enquiries, concerns, and feedback across multiple communication channels.

  • Assist members in using recovery equipment safely and effectively.

  • Maintain accurate customer records and process memberships and transactions.

Operations & Administration
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the centre, including opening and closing procedures.

  • Assisting with social media content creation for our P3 Labrador pages within HQ Guidelines

  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management and ordering.

Sales & Membership Growth
  • Drive membership sales and achieve individual and centre sales targets.

  • Promote memberships, products, and services to prospective and existing members.

  • Support marketing initiatives, events, and community partnerships to increase centre awareness and engagement.

Facility Presentation & Safety
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the centre, including pool decks and recovery areas.

  • Ensure all equipment is clean, safe, and operating effectively.

  • Identify and report maintenance requirements and workplace hazards.

  • Adhere to company policies and workplace health and safety procedures.

Leadership & Team Support
  • Lead shifts and provide guidance and support to staff when required.

  • Assist the Centre Manager in achieving operational and financial KPIs.

  • Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture.

Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in customer service and sales, preferably within health, fitness, wellness, or hospitality industries.

  • Leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify sales opportunities.

  • Proficient in computer systems and administration tasks.

Qualifications
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate (preferred).

  • High School Certificate or equivalent.

  • Experience in membership-based businesses or wellness environments is advantageous.
