Matt Stone Racing is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Partnerships Executive to play a key role in the commercial growth of its Supercars race team.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Matt Stone Racing is based in Yatala, Gold Coast, Queensland.
The Team competes at the top level of motorsport in Australasia - the Repco Supercars Championship - since 2018. In 2026, it also expanded its racing programs to Super2 and TA2 support categories.

Matt Stone Racing has a fierce ambition to grow into one of the top teams in Supercars over the next few years. This role is an opportunity for you to play a critical role in the success of the Team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This full-time role is based at Matt Stone Racing HQ in Yatala.

Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial, and working closely with the Content Manager, this role focuses on delivering exceptional service and value to the Team Partners, in order to supercharge the Team's commercial growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Establish strong rapport and own day-to-day relationships with Team Partners

  • Ensure proactive, personalised and commercially aligned communications to Team Partners

  • Ensure delivery of all contracted assets to drive renewals and commercial growth

  • Improve and develop processes to elevate the commercial value delivery to our Team Partners

  • Plan and execute all partnership activations across race weekends and between events at the workshop

  • Internal collaboration: Provide support to the Head of Commercial and the wider team

  • Attend race events, industry events and networking functions to promote the Team and cultivate relationships.

Matt Stone Racing is a versatile and flexible team. The duties above are not exhaustive and the position may be tailored to the applicant's individual skills and abilities. Due to the nature of our business, the ideal candidate must be flexible to work odd hours, including weekends and be available for interstate and international travel.

ABOUT YOU

Individual

  • Highly self-motivated individual, able to work autonomously and proactively

  • High energy and appetite to operate in a fast-paced team environment

  • Experience in partnerships roles in sports or entertainment industry

  • An understanding of the motorsport industry and sports marketing

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Excellent presentation and customer service skills

  • Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver results to tight deadlines

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Skills

  • Degree qualifications in a relevant discipline

  • Proficient in technical writing with sound journalistic principles

  • Computer literacy: Confident using Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint for reports and presentations.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills within the Team and with key external stakeholders
