About SunUp Disability Services

SunUp Disability Services is a registered NDIS provider working across the Gold Coast and Logan. We specialise in Supported Independent Living for young adults aged 18 to 40 with psychosocial disability and complex mental health needs. Our support workers are directly employed and locally recruited, never agency staff. We are locally owned, growing fast, and built on one idea: Rising Together.

 About the role

This is a true business development role, and you will own our referral pipeline. Your days are spent in the field, not behind a desk. You will be meeting support coordinators, plan managers, hospital discharge teams and allied health professionals across the Gold Coast and Logan, and building the relationships that bring participants to SunUp.

You will work directly with our General Manager, who will be alongside you in the early weeks so you know the brand and the offer inside out. After that, the role is yours to run.

 What you will be doing

  • Building and maintaining relationships with support coordinators, plan managers and hospital discharge teams, including Gold Coast University Hospital and Robina Hospital

  • Generating referrals for Supported Independent Living and for ongoing community participation and daily living supports

  • Representing SunUp in the community: networking, information drops, coffee catch-ups, follow-up visits

  • Logging every contact and managing your own follow-up discipline in our CRM (Pipedrive)

  • Meeting clear referral and placement targets

  • Feeding market intelligence back to leadership

What we are looking for

  • A proven track record in business development or sales, ideally within NDIS, disability, aged care, allied health or community services

  • An existing network of support coordinators, plan managers or hospital contacts across the Gold Coast and Logan is a strong advantage

  • A genuine relationship builder who works through trust and consistency, not pressure

  • Highly self-managed and comfortable working autonomously from the field

  • Strong CRM and follow-up discipline

  • A solid understanding of NDIS funding, plan management types and Supported Independent Living

  • Current Queensland driver licence and a reliable vehicle

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Queensland Blue Card, or willingness to obtain both before commencement

What is on offer

  • Base salary of $95,000 to $110,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience

  • Uncapped commission on placements, so strong performers earn well above base

  • Vehicle allowance, phone and laptop

  • Genuine autonomy and direct access to leadership

  • A ground-floor role with a specialist provider on a clear growth path

  • The chance to make a real difference for young people with psychosocial disability

How to apply

Apply through Seek with your resume and a short cover letter telling us about your network and one referral relationship you are proud of. For a confidential chat, call Billy on 0483 948 *** or email *****@sunupdisabilityservices.com.au.
