Project Coordinator – Post Tensioning / Steel-Fixing

An exciting opportunity is now available with a rapidly growing Post Tensioning specialist delivering major residential, commercial, and industrial projects across QLD. With several large-scale projects secured, we are expanding our construction team and seeking a motivated Project Coordinator to join us.

About the Role:

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering projects safely, profitably, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong builder relationships.

·        Managing project budgets and cost controls to ensure profitability

·        Conducting site inspections (Reinforcement and Post Tensioning) to maintain quality standards

·        Preparing monthly forecast reports and progress claims

·        Supporting pre-tender estimating and cost planning

·        Performing material take-offs from project drawings and specifications

·        Collaborating with senior project engineers, post tension designers, and draftsmen

·        Support the implementation and monitoring of site safety systems including SWMS preparation, safety inspections, incident reporting, and promoting a strong safety culture across all projects.

·        Assist with maintaining QA systems including inspection checklists, documentation, testing coordination, and ensuring works comply with project specifications and engineering requirements.

·        Reporting directly to the QLD General Manager

What We’re Looking For:

·        A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (or final year students encouraged to apply)

·        0–3 years’ experience in construction (preferred but not essential)

·        Strong organisational and communication skills

·        A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
