This well-established, design-led architectural practice known for delivering thoughtful, refined, and highly buildable outcomes across residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.

Working across high-density developments, large-scale residential, and complex multi-stage projects, the studio takes a holistic approach, integrating design, documentation, and construction delivery to ensure clarity from concept through to completion.

The team operates within a highly collaborative, open environment where ideas are shared openly, standards are high, and individuals are empowered to take ownership and contribute meaningfully. The Working Environment

  • Full-time, studio-based role
  • Based in Surfers Paradise
  • Standard hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm

The Role

  • Lead full end to end project lifecycle delivery including briefing, concept, documentation, and construction
  • Manage scope, fees, programme, and resourcing
  • Lead design direction aligned with client vision, budget, and constraints
  • Oversee high-quality documentation (DA, BA, IFC)
  • Coordinate teams and consultants to deliver clear outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with NCC, standards, and regulations
  • Maintain project quality, clarity, and efficiency
  • Mentor and support junior architects and graduates
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable team environment
  • Manage tendering, procurement, and contractor selection
  • Administer contracts and construction phase services
  • Review RFIs, shop drawings, variations, and claims
  • Help shape the culture, standards, and future direction of the practice

A Successful Candidate

  • Registered Architect (Australia) with local project experience
  • Strong experience delivering complex residential or mixed-use projects
  • Confident leading projects independently and managing multiple priorities
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong coordination skills
  • Solid understanding of construction methodology, detailing, and structural coordination
  • Experience with precast systems highly regarded
  • Exposure to costing or development-side thinking is a strong advantage
  • Advanced Revit skills + Adobe Suite
  • Strong communicator: pragmatic, clear, and solutions-focused
