Junior Estimating & Contract Administration Cadet

BuzBee is a growing construction company seeking a motivated Junior Estimator / Contract Administration Cadet to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in estimating and contract administration within the commercial construction sector.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assisting the Estimating and Contract Administration team with quantity take-offs, pricing, and preparation of tender documents

• Reviewing subcontractor quotations and managing the subcontract administration process

• Preparing and analysing contract variations, progress claims, and final accounts

• Supporting the procurement of materials and services for active construction projects

• Maintaining accurate project records and documentation

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of estimating and contract administration processes

What We're Looking For

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field

• 1–3 years’ experience in estimating or contract administration (preferably in construction)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

• Proficiency in construction software (estimating, planning, and project management tools)

• A proactive, adaptable team player

• Current Blue Card and valid Australian driver’s licence
