We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsperson to join our dynamic team.

 

Job Summary:

The Architectural Draftsperson will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for construction and design project. This includes preparing technical drawings, interpreting design concepts, ensuring compliance, revising and updating plans, assisting in approvals, material & specification details, collaborating with teams and maintaining project records.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, and layouts using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or ArchiCAD.

• Translate architectural and engineering concepts into accurate technical documentation.

• Modify and update drawings to meet planning, permitting, and client requirements.

• Coordinate with construction teams to ensure drawings are practical and suitable for implementation.

• Prepare documentation and plans for submission to local authorities and approval bodies.

• Collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, and consultants throughout project stages.

• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable building codes, standards, and regulations.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation across the project lifecycle.

• Revise drawings based on project scope changes, design updates, and client feedback.

• Assist in the preparation of planning applications and building permit documentation.

• Coordinate with internal team members to meet project deadlines and maintain accuracy of deliverables.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience working in similar role

• Knowledge in National Construction Codes and related construction practices.

• Diploma or Degree in Architectural Drafting, Building Design, or a related field.

• Proficiency in software/tools, e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, ArchiCAD etc.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Knowledgeable in Build logic & MS Project is an advantage.
