Core ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 support by assisting participants with appointments and planned activities.
Facilitate and support group activities in Gold Coast.
Deliver support during respite hours and other participant outings.
Establish and maintain trusted, empathetic relationships with participants and stakeholders.
Promote client autonomy, legal and human rights respecting informed choice and control.
Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to meet client and organisational goals.
Must hold a valid driver's license.
Minimum Certificate III in Community Services, Mental Health, or Disability is mandatory.
Lived experience as a carer is a significant advantage.
At least 1 year of direct experience in disability or mental health support.
Candidates working towards qualifications in psychology, occupational therapy or related fields are encouraged to apply.
Proven ability to work with vulnerable populations with respect and professionalism.
Must hold Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work visa.
