About the Role

As an Aged Care Support Worker – Domestic Assistance, you will visit elderly clients in their homes and assist with household tasks that help them remain safe, comfortable, and independent.

This role focuses primarily on domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry and maintaining a safe home environment, with friendly conversation and companionship naturally becoming part of each visit.

This is a casual position with a consistent recurring roster, giving you reliable hours and the opportunity to build ongoing relationships with regular clients.

You’ll typically support the same clients each week/fortnight, allowing familiarity and trust to grow over time.

Many clients genuinely look forward to these visits - not just for the help around the home, but for the friendly and familiar face they see each week.

Typical Duties

• General house cleaning

• Laundry and linen changes

• Light household organisation

• Helping maintain a safe and comfortable home

• Friendly conversation and companionship
