The role:We have an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join our close knit and supportive team at our Yatala QLD site.

Responsibilities:Contribute towards the safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment
Carry out preventive / planned / breakdown maintenance routines
Ability in identifying the Root Cause of equipment failures
Timely and effective resolution of plant failures
Partake in capital and improvement projects
Able to identify improvement opportunities
Follow WHS directives
A great attitude and genuine desire to produce high quality results
High level knowledge & commitment to WHS and risk management
Sound verbal and written communication skills with intermediate level computer skills
Ability to work individually or as a team member
Experience working as a Maintenance Fitter, preferably in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment that has standard, structured work with accountability for delivery of maintenance KPI’s
Ability to work to a flexible schedule including shift work as required
Formal Trade qualifications are required
MMAW & MIG welding skills (TIG optional)
Hydraulics and Pneumatics training and experience
Ability to work Overtime as required
Forklift ticket
Experience in using a Computerised Maintenance System MEX
Working at Heights ticket
