Delve, HR Business Partner to Engineering Design & Certifications (EDC), is seeking an experienced Structural Engineering Manager to lead and grow EDC’s engineering team on the Gold Coast.

EDC specialises in light gauge steel, residential and light commercial structural design. With projects delivered across Australia, the company has built a strong reputation for practical, efficient and cost-effective engineering solutions.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Directors, this role will lead a team of engineers while overseeing the delivery of structural design and certification projects. You will provide technical leadership, mentor developing engineers, and ensure projects are delivered to a high standard in accordance with Australian Standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor and develop a team of structural engineers
Manage structural engineering projects from design through to certification
Review engineering calculations, drawings and documentation
Provide technical guidance and peer review for engineers and drafters
Maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and quality systems

About You

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Current Professional Engineer registration (RPEQ, CPEng, NER or equivalent)
10+ years’ structural engineering experience
Experience in steel and light gauge steel design
Proven leadership or mentoring experience
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
