🔧 Mechanical/ Workshop Manager - Caravan Industry 🔧

BOSS Adventure Caravans is seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Workshop Manager to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong mechanical knowledge and experience in the caravan or automotive industry.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing workshop, pre-delivery work, supporting warranty repairs, and general mechanical servicing across our caravan range. This role is critical in ensuring our vans leave in top condition and that customer warranty issues are resolved efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Workshop and Job Sheets

  • Carry out caravan pre-delivery inspections (PDI)

  • Diagnose and complete warranty repairs

  • Install and service 12V electrical systems

  • Install and maintain solar systems

  • Install air conditioning units

  • Fit and troubleshoot rear-view camera systems

  • Perform battery installations and DRS systems

  • Conduct silicone sealing and finishing work

  • Change and service wheel bearings, wheels, and suspension components (including shocks)

  • General mechanical repairs and maintenance

  • Work closely with the team to maintain high-quality standards

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience in mechanical repairs (automotive or caravan industry preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of 12V electrical systems

  • Background as an auto electrician (highly regarded)

  • Experience with caravan servicing or pre-delivery (advantageous)

  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the go

  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship

  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player
