How you will contribute to the team:

We are seeking a full-time State Manager based in our Arundel Head Office. In this role, you will lead and support our NSW site team, helping ensure jobs run smoothly across the region from the QLD/NSW border through to Newcastle.

While the position is largely office-based, occasional site visits will be required so the ability to travel when needed is essential.

You will be responsible for managing large loss insurance repairs predominantly focusing on storm damage to metal roofs. 

The below is designed to give you an idea of the role you will play. There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do:

  • Lead and support Site and Desktop Supervisors across the NSW region

  • Manage large value repairs, predominantly roof repairs

  • Assess & report on property damages 

  • Source and manage trades to ensure jobs progress smoothly, on time, and meet quality control standards

  • Manage budgets, revenue performance, and cost control for the region

  • Run weekly Work in Progress (WIP) meetings with Supervisors to review project status and drive job progress

Mandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of building practices, roofing systems, and repair/replacement processes.

  • Proven experience coordinating multiple projects and managing teams or subcontractors

  • Solid understanding of HBCF regulations, building codes, and WHS compliance requirements.

  • Certificate 4 in Building and Construction highly regarded

  • Trade Qualified

  • Team player and company focussed

  • High standard of quality

  • Good computer literary skills

  • Customer Service, Safety, Technology and Quality are critical to the role. The right applicant will understand the importance of each and excel in all of them.
