Waxys Irish Pub is located in the heart of Surfers Paradise, 2 minutes walk from Cavill Avenue Tram Station. The kitchen is open 7 days from 1130am-230pm and 5pm-830pm. We offer quality pub food at a reasonable price to appeal to a wide range of customers.

Qualifications & experience

• Commercial Cookery Certification, or experience in a similar role

• Food hygiene certificate, Food Safety Supervisor highly regarded

Tasks & responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef so food is prepared to the highest standards

• Prepare and cook meats, sides and menu items to standard

• Follow portion control and recipes

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the kitchen at all times

• Support the team to deliver fast and accurate service

• Stock monitoring and ordering
