Day Off is looking for a high-energy "gun" Barista to join our founding team in Southport. We are a customer-obsessed cafe where the vibe is everything—we need a proactive, extroverted professional who loves to engage with people and spark great energy on the floor.

The Role

    •    Proactive Hospitality: You don't just wait behind the machine; you proactively approach and welcome customers to set a high-energy tone.

    •    Active Engagement: We want a barista who loves to chat and actively engage with the community for a seamless, friendly experience.

    •    Technical Excellence: At least 1 year of fast-paced experience. You are confident in dialing in and maintaining a clean, calibrated station.

    •    Full Cycle Mastery: Handling the full cycle job, including opening, prepping, calibrating, and closing/cleaning.

    •    Location: Heart of Southport. Very walkable location with bus and tram stops just steps away.

    •    Status: full time

Requirements

    •    Customer First: Naturally proactive with a passion for interacting with people.

    •    Experience: Minimum 1 year in a fast-paced cafe environment.

    •    Communication: Fluent English and the ability to multitask (chatting while working!) with ease.

    •    Reliability: Punctual, professional, and looking for a long-term team to grow with.
