The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting quality meals while maintaining excellent kitchen operations and food safety standards in a fast paced hospitality environment.

• Prepare, cook and present a range of meals/dishes according to an a la carte and function menus
• Menu includes a range of entrees, mains, desserts, specials boards also, pub classics with a modern twist
• Have input into the planning of menus and cooking procedures
• Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and cleanliness practices throughout each shift to ensure OH&S regulations are met
• Assist with monitoring stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control
• Ability to work day, evenings, weekends and split shifts
• Assist with managing kitchen preparation and food standards
• Minimise food waste and maintaining efficient kitchen operations
• Relevant qualification equivalent to Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma of Hospitality or higher
• Minimum 12 months of relevant full time work experience as a Chef
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a dynamic kitchen environment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Creative approach to food preparation and presentation
• Strong understanding of food safety and cleanliness requirements
