Wholesale Food Group is a leading contract food manufacturer in Australia, specializing in producing gourmet Mediterranean-inspired foods and custom private label food products for food brand owners, retailers, and distribution companies. Since 1996, they have served a diverse range of local and national B2B customers across various industries and international clients. Their Gold Coast, Queensland location has been a hub for high-quality food manufacturing services and gourmet products.

We are currently seeking a production preparation team member to join our busy, fast paced factory.

Working in a small fast-paced team, this role will include duties such as:

• Prepare, mix, and produce large quantities of products for packing.

• Following production and WHS procedures. 

• Maintaining a high standard level of food safety.

• Basic warehousing duties such as locating/moving stock via pallet jacks.

• Assist other team members in daily cleaning duties to ensure a clean and safe workplace.

• Assist other team members in the production/packing of goods.

• Complete documentation in accordance with internal policies, procedures, and food safety requirements.

• Manage ingredient stock to maintain expected quality standards, stock levels and report any requirements to team leaders.

What we are looking for:

• Someone physically fit to undertake manual and repetitive tasks as this role requires you to be able to lift up to 25kg, carry and move products around the factory.

• Someone reliable with own transport.

• Experience in factory warehousing/food handling (desirable)

• A willingness to learn.

• A collaborative team player with a can-do attitude.

• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices (desirable)

• Ability to read and follow specific recipes.

• Strong communicator.
