About the role

Document Solutions Print & I.T is seeking a Technology Sales Person - Trainee to join our dynamic sales team. This is a full-time position based in Southport, QLD 4215. As a Technology Sales Person - Trainee, you will be entering an exciting career path within technology sales, working with cutting-edge solutions and building relationships with clients. This role covers Copiers/Printers/Managed I.T/Software & other forms of Digital Technology. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your sales expertise from the ground up, supported by an experienced team that is committed to your professional growth and success.

What you'll be doing

1. Identifying and prospecting potential clients within the technology sector to develop new business opportunities

2. Building and maintaining client relationships through regular communication and follow-up activities

3. Presenting and demonstrating technology solutions to prospects and existing clients

4. Preparing and delivering sales proposals tailored to client needs and requirements

5. Collaborating with senior sales team members to understand sales processes, strategies and best practices

6. Conducting product demonstrations and technical presentations to support the sales process

7. Recording and updating customer information accurately in our CRM system

8. Participating in sales training programs and development initiatives to enhance your skills

9. Meeting and exceeding agreed sales targets and key performance indicators

10. Supporting the wider sales team with administrative and organisational tasks as required

What we're looking for

1. A passion for sales and a genuine interest in the technology industry

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues

3. Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail

4. A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with the ability to take initiative

5. Basic computer literacy and comfort with technology systems and CRM platforms

6. The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

7. A professional and courteous demeanor

8. Previous sales experience is desirable but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate

9. A valid driver's licence is a mandatory requirement
