Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Workforce Housing division based at our Luscombe Head Office. 

This is an exciting opportunity to drive business growth across Queensland, developing new opportunities and building strong relationships within the mining, renewable energy, energy and major infrastructure sectors. 

We're particularly interested in speaking with candidates from construction, modular buildings, workforce accommodation, mining services, infrastructure or related industries who understand project-based sales and tendering environments.

What You'll Be Doing 

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing key client relationships across Queensland. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Identifying and securing opportunities across mining, renewable energy, energy and major infrastructure sectors 

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients 

  • Managing sales pipelines and project opportunities 

  • Preparing tenders, proposals, quotations and commercial submissions 

  • Leading commercial negotiations and supporting contract discussions 

  • Working closely with internal teams to develop client-focused solutions 

  • Monitoring market activity and identifying new business opportunities 

  • Maintaining sales forecasts, lead reports and project tracking 

What You'll Bring 

To be successful, you will have: 

  • Experience in business development, account management or technical sales 

  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills 

  • Experience preparing tenders, quotations and proposals 

  • Background in construction, modular buildings, workforce accommodation, mining services, infrastructure or a related industry 

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills 

  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and competing priorities 

  • A proactive approach with a strong focus on achieving results 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Business, Commerce or related qualifications and/or significant industry experience 

  • Experience within construction, mining, infrastructure, modular buildings or workforce accommodation highly regarded 

  • Understanding of tendering, contract negotiations and project delivery environments
