On the Park General Practice

Our long-established general practice in Ashmore is looking for a Practice Nurse to join our friendly team for 3-4 ½ days per week.

We have been caring for our community for over 30 years and pride ourselves on maintaining a supportive, team-focused workplace. Our team consists of four GPs, a Practice Nurse, six reception staff and a Practice Manager/Nurse.

Applicants must be a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and a preferred minimum of 6 months general practice nursing experience.

The role includes:

• Immunisations and cold chain management

• Wound care

• Health assessments and chronic disease management

• Skin procedure assistance

• Stock and vaccine ordering

• Emergency equipment oversight

• Patient recalls and reception triage support

Hours are generally Tuesday–Thursday plus Friday morning, commencing at 8:30am, with flexibility available for the right applicant.

This is a varied and rewarding role with excellent team support and opportunities to become a valued long-term member of the practice.

Remuneration will be negotiated according to award, experience and skills.
