We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Lawyer to join our dynamic and growing firm.

Role 

You will assist in a diverse range of commercial matters. This includes advising on corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiation and drafting, and general commercial advice.

This role is ideal for a lawyer early in their career who is keen to develop strong commercial law foundations and gain hands-on exposure across transactions and advisory work while working closely with experienced Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with advising clients on general commercial and corporate matters

• Support corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions

• Draft and review commercial contracts and legal documents

• Conduct legal research and prepare advice and correspondence

• Assist with client communications and file management

• Work collaboratively with Directors and senior lawyers on active matters

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• 1 year + PQE

• A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent qualification

• A current Queensland practising certificate

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and drafting skills

• Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn

• A positive, proactive attitude and strong work ethic
