About the role

Kingsford Lawyers are seeking a Senior Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join our dynamic team in our Queensland office located in Ashmore.

As a Senior Commercial Litigation Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic and high-quality, legal services to our diverse client base. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment that provides training and room for growth.  

What you'll be doing

• Advising clients on a wide range of commercial matters

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents and agreements

• Court appearances where necessary

• Brief Counsel

• Providing legal guidance and support to the firm's partners, seniors and other team members

• Researching and analysing legal issues, and presenting solutions to clients

• Staying up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations

• Contributing to the firm's growth and strategic initiatives

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of post-qualification experience

• Experience in a broad range of commercial litigation matters

• Proven ability to provide pragmatic, quality, and commercially focused legal advice to clients

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues

• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Commitment to staying up-to-date with legal developments and trends

• Team player with good work ethic
