Production Planning & Support Officer

We are a fast-growing Australian manufacturing business seeking a Production Planning & Support Officer to join our operations team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across spare parts, customer support, and production workflows, while developing your skills in production planning, operational coordination, and product development.

Experience in spare parts, service coordination, or manufacturing is beneficial, but we value a great attitude and strong administrator, with curiosity, and willingness to learn above all else.

About the Role

Initially, you will support our Customer Support and Service teams by:

• Preparing quotations and scheduling production or dispatch

• Coordinating spare parts and work orders

• Monitoring progress of open orders and ensuring on-time completion

• Assisting with warranty processing and dealer liaison

• Maintaining accurate records across multiple systems

Over time, the role will evolve into broader responsibilities, providing exposure to:

• Production planning and workflow optimisation

• Supply chain coordination and inventory management

• Process improvement initiatives

• Cross-functional collaboration with engineers, production, and service teams

• Production engineering tasks, including new product implementation and technical process improvements

This is a hands-on, varied role for someone eager to learn and grow within a technical, manufacturing environment.

About You

You are:

• Technically minded with strong attention to detail

• A fast learner who thrives in a dynamic environment

• Highly organised with strong administrative skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities

• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks

• Comfortable working with systems, drawings, BOMs, and production processes

• A recent engineering graduate, drafting/CAD professional, or someone with experience in manufacturing or as a spare parts interpreter

• Eager to grow your career in production planning, production engineering, or operational coordination

This is a full-time role working;

Week 1: Monday–Thursday 7:00am–4:00pm, Friday 7:00am–3:30pm (42 hour week)
Week 2: Monday–Thursday 7:00am–4:00pm, Friday RDO (34 hour week)
