Exodas is a well-established and growing transport and logistics company operating along the East coast of Australia, from Nth Queensland through to Melbourne.

Head Office is located in Yatala (QLD) with depots/yards also located in Melbourne, Sydney, Warnervale, Mackay, Bowen, Townsville, Tully, Innisfail and Mareeba.


The Role

📈 As a Linehaul Transport Allocator you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and scheduling drivers for the timely pick up and delivery of freight between North Queensland and Melbourne. Meeting timeframes and time-slots is a critical aspect of this role

  • Planning loading of freight to ensure maximum utilisation of company equipment, whilst also meeting Chain of Responsibility obligations

  • Clear communication of instructions and expectations to drivers and other staff - using WhatsApp to provide instructions to drivers

  • Clear and timely communication with external and internal parties

  • Monitoring driver Fatigue Management

  • Accurate and timely record keeping of the daily movements of drivers and equipment


🧾About you 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Intermediate (Office, Excel) computer skills are essential

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a sometimes high paced and high pressure environment

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Experience and understanding of produce and refrigerated freight would be an advantage


📅 Experience in an allocations role within a transport company is required.
