About the Role
Reporting directly to the company director, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing advertising and marketing strategies that support customer acquisition, lead generation, brand development, and commercial growth. The role spans strategic planning, campaign optimisation, attribution analysis, content production, SEO, and digital brand management across search networks and social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing Strategy
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
- Plan and execute integrated multi-channel campaigns to increase customer enquiries and online bookings.
- Conduct competitor analysis, market research, and audience analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital consumer behaviour.
Paid Advertising and Performance Marketing
- Manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube, TikTok, and related platforms.
- Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and campaign segmentation.
- Monitor advertising budgets, campaign performance, and return on investment (ROI).
- Implement A/B testing strategies for advertisements, landing pages, and lead generation campaigns.
- Analyse CPC, CPA, conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
Attribution and Conversion Analysis
- Monitor and analyse attribution data to determine the effectiveness of digital marketing activities across multiple customer touchpoints.
- Track customer conversion pathways from paid advertising, social media, organic search, email campaigns, and referral channels.
- Implement conversion tracking tools including Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, and CRM integrations.
- Prepare attribution reports to identify which marketing activities generate qualified leads and revenue outcomes.
Social Media and Content Marketing
- Manage and grow the company's social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Create engaging digital content including Reels, promotional videos, photography, and branded campaigns.
- Coordinate content calendars, campaign scheduling, and online engagement activities.
- Maintain brand consistency across all digital channels and promotional materials.
SEO and Website Optimisation
- Implement SEO strategies to improve search visibility and organic traffic.
- Manage website content updates, service landing pages, and lead generation functionality.
- Optimise Google Business Profiles and local search visibility for Queensland and interstate markets.
- Monitor website traffic, customer behaviour, and conversion performance using analytics tools.
CRM, AI Tools, and Marketing Technology
- Manage CRM system and lead management processes; develop automated email and SMS marketing campaigns.
- Utilise AI-powered marketing tools to improve campaign optimisation, customer targeting, and workflow automation.
- Research emerging marketing technologies and recommend process improvements.
- Segment customer audiences based on demographics, behaviours, and purchasing trends.
Reporting and Stakeholder Management
- Prepare detailed marketing performance reports and strategic recommendations for management.
- Analyse marketing spend, campaign profitability, and customer acquisition costs.
- Track KPIs including conversion rates, customer lifetime value, website traffic, and engagement metrics.
- Coordinate with external suppliers including videographers, photographers, and marketing partners.
Skills and Qualifications
Required
- Experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, or eCommerce marketing.
- Strong understanding of Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, SEM, and digital analytics.
- Knowledge of attribution modelling, conversion tracking, and customer journey analysis.
- Experience using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Business Suite, and CRM systems.
- Ability to interpret marketing data and provide strategic recommendations.
- Experience with AI-powered marketing and automation tools.
- Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience in service-based, logistics, or relocation industries.
- Experience managing digital campaigns with measurable commercial outcomes.
