About the role

We are seeking a Facilities Officer to join our valued Client based in Bilinga, Queensland. This is a casual relief position from 23/03/26 - 15/05/26. As the Facilities Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation and upkeep of the premises.

What you'll be doing

• Perform general maintenance and handyperson duties to ensure the facility is well-maintained and in good working order

• Respond promptly to service requests and address any issues or concerns that arise

• Conduct regular inspections and identify areas that require attention or repair

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of events or meetings as required

• Contribute to the overall safety and compliance of the premises

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated experience in plastering repairs, painting, general plumbing repairs and light fixture replacement

• Must have current RIIHAN301E - Operate Elevating Work Platform

• Demonstrated experience in a similar facilities or maintenance role

• Strong practical and technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands
