We’re looking for a technically sharp, highly experienced Residential Site Manager to join our team. In this role, you will take absolute ownership of our job sites from the ground up, starting with strict oversight of all foundational works. Broad trade knowledge is essential here; we need a leader who can proactively identify and resolve potential issues throughout the entire build process, ensuring every stage meticulously complies with building codes and our own uncompromising standards for quality.

About the Role

As our Residential Site Supervisor, you will be the driving force on the ground. You will manage the day-to-day operations of our sites, acting as the critical link between the design team, the office, our trades, and our clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Site Management: Directing and supervising job sites, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless construction sequencing and site safety.

• Quality & Compliance: Ensuring all builds strictly comply with NCC standards, QBCC standards and tolerances, contract plans, and engineering drawings. You will be expected to enforce Wilson Design & Build’s internal standards, which often exceed baseline QBCC requirements.

• Pre-Construction Input: Conducting initial site measures for plan preparation. You will also assess architectural plans prior to construction, providing feedback to our designers regarding buildability, structural integrity, and NCC compliance.

• Milestone Inspections & Handovers: Conducting thorough site inspections at key stages of the build and delivering a premium handover experience for our clients.

• Stakeholder Communication: Relaying accurate, timely information to the office and Project Managers regarding site conditions and potential issues.

• Issue Resolution: Acting as the on-site problem solver. You will resolve issues between trades, manage initial customer queries on site (escalating further communications to the office), and ensure the project keeps moving forward.

• General Site Duties: Undertaking other maintenance and construction-related requests as reasonably directed by the Director.

About You

You are a hands-on, highly organised leader who takes immense pride in the quality of your builds. You have a sharp eye for detail, a deep understanding of residential construction, and the ability to foresee and solve problems before they impact the schedule.

You'll likely have:

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in the residential construction sector (custom home experience is highly regarded).

• A current QBCC Site Supervisor License (or Builders License).

• Exceptional knowledge of the NCC, Australian Standards, and QBCC tolerances.

• The ability to read and meticulously interpret architectural and engineering plans, spotting discrepancies or missing information easily.

• Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage trades, suppliers, and client interactions on site.

• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

The Package

• Full-time role managing sites across South East Queensland.

• $100,000 – $120,000 + superannuation + vehicle (commensurate with experience).
