We are currently seeking experienced Boilermaker Welders to join our team on a full-time basis to go between our Molendinar and Murarrie Queensland workshops. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a collaborative team working on varied fabrication and welding projects in a workshop environment. We welcome applications from both qualified tradespeople and non-trade qualified individuals with strong relevant experience.

Key experience and attributes we're looking for:

 •     Experience in fabrication, welding, and interpreting workshop drawings within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.

About the Role


As a Boilermaker /Welder with ACE, you will:

•     Work alongside experienced tradespeople to deliver high-quality fabrication solutions.

•     Contribute to a range of projects, from maintenance to fabrication and repair work.

•     Be part of a team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

•     Gain exposure to diverse projects that will support your ongoing development.

Skills & Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

•     Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans.

•     Strong welding and fabrication skills (MIG, TIG, Stick).

•     Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery.

•     Heavy gauge plate experience (16mm – 40mm).

•     Experience doing multi overlay welds.

•     Knowledge of safe work practices and commitment to workplace safety.

•     Problem-solving skills and the ability to work to deadlines.

•     A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.

•     Previous experience in a workshop or field environment.

•     Forklift ticket (highly advantageous)
