We are a well-established Australian company with a rich history dating back to 1889. As the leaders in the Automated Materials Handling & Pneumatic Tube Systems industry, we are seeking a dedicated Installation/Service Technician to join our team. Your role will involve providing outstanding service, maintenance, and installation support to prestigious clients such as Qld Health, Coles, Woolworths and NSW Health

As a technician, you will:

  • Conduct preventative maintenance services and respond to emergency call-outs,

  • Monitor automated guided vehicle and pneumatic tube system hardware & software to ensure systems are operating optimally and address any performance issues

  • Solve problems and troubleshoot on-site and remotely through telephone support,

  • Collaborate with internal teams and communicate effectively with customers and their representatives,

  • Install PVC tubes (75mm-160mm) at hospitals, supermarkets, and construction sites

  • Participate in an After Hours On-Call Roster and occasionally handle emergency break-fix call-outs

  • Ensure that the AGV systems communicates with other relevant systems e.g. building management systems including fire systems, lift interfaces and door interfaces

  • Controls and manages operational workflows through the use of personal handheld devices and portable or desktop computers.

  • Receive training and support from our technical experts.

  • Escalate any technical issues that cannot be resolved onsite


Requirements:

  • Electrical trade background or aptitude preferred,

  • Ability to interpret schematics and construction plans,

  • Ability to work on Construction sites, Hospitals and other client locations,

  • Experience with PVC tube installation desirable,

  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills,

  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities,

  • Flexibility for on-call, occasional emergency duties, and Remote Travel,

  • Valid driver's license,

  • General hand tools.
