About Our Client

Our client is an end-to-end civil construction company. Based in South-East Queensland and the Darling Downs, they specialize in heavy construction, bulk earthworks, and underground infrastructure for residential, commercial, and mining sectors.

What You Will Be Doing 

As a Pipelayer, your duties will include –

• Install stormwater, sewer, water, and drainage pipelines to project specifications.

• Read and interpret civil construction drawings, service plans, and set-out information.

• Lay and join PVC, HDPE, concrete, and reinforced concrete pipes.

• Complete trench preparation, pipe bedding, backfilling, and compaction works.

• Install pits, manholes, culverts, headwalls, and other drainage structures.

• Conduct laser level and grade checks to ensure accurate pipe placement.

• Work alongside operators and labourers to complete pipe installation safely and efficiently.

• Complete pre-starts, safety documentation, site reporting, and maintain housekeeping standards.

 

Shift Structure

Monday to Friday – 6:30am to 5pm

 

What is Required

• Driver’s Licence + reliable transport

• White construction card

• Previous experience in above duties!

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and levels

• Able to work autonomously and lead a crew

• Cert III Pipelaying – highly desirable

• Confined Spaces and Gas Test Atmosphere tickets – highly desirable

• RII Excavator, RII Roller and RII Loader – highly desirable

• MR or HR Driver’s license – highly desirable

• Reliability and good work ethic
