About the Role

We’re looking for a full-time Vehicle Technician to join our teams at Southport and Arundel. Whether you excel in express servicing or enjoy tackling more complex repairs, these roles are your chance to shine in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on vehicle mechanical condition.

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles, including dealer warranty repairs.

  • Specialise in troubleshooting complex electrical, computer and mechanical faults

  • Perform mechanical repairs, dismantle/reconstruct components, and replace faulty parts.

  • Report all necessary service or repairs to the Service Manager.

  • Order parts required for warranty and other services.

  • Keep up to date with technical changes to our product range.

  • Ensure a safe working environment with proper use of tools and equipment.

  • Conduct test drives and final assessments before vehicle handover.

What We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills across a variety of vehicles.

  • Extensive knowledge in OBD=11 scanning, live data analysis, component testing

  • Ability to provide clear explanation to clients and support staff

  • Attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

  • The ability to work autonomously or within a team environment.

  • Clear communication skills and intermediate PC literacy.

  • A current manual driver’s licence (essential).

  • An RWC licence (advantageous).

  • A qualification such as Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (highly desirable).

  • Their own tools.
