About the role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yardsman / Forklift Operator to join our team in Alberton.

This is a permanent casual position (Monday–Friday) within a busy formwork and construction hire yard. You will be working outdoors in all weather conditions, helping keep operations running smoothly and safely.

What you’ll be doing

• Operating forklifts (including all-terrain forklift operations)

• Loading and unloading trucks and materials

• Preparing and organising site materials and equipment

• Assisting with general yard and manual labour tasks

• Supporting safe and efficient yard operations

• Following load restraint and transport safety requirements

What we’re looking for

• Experienced forklift operator (essential)

• Experience loading trucks (preferred)

• Understanding of load limits and oversize transport regulations (preferred)

• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn

• Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform manual labour

• White Card (essential)

• Strong safety awareness and good communication skills

Advantage (not essential):

• EWP ticket

• Crane ticket

• Dogging or rigging tickets

• Previous formwork or construction industry experience
