We are a busy, organised family seeking a reliable, energetic, and proactive After-School Nanny / Family Assistant to help keep our afternoons running smoothly.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, is confident driving, and is happy to assist with light household tasks. If you're organised, trustworthy, and enjoy being part of a supportive family environment, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

You'll play an important role in helping manage the after-school routine, including school pick-ups, activity drop-offs, and general household support.

Location

• School pickup in Coomera

• Home base in Burleigh Heads

• After-school activities in Miami

Hours

Monday to Friday

• 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

• 20 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Childcare & Transport

• Collect our child from school in Coomera

• Drive safely home to Burleigh Heads

• Transport to after-school activities, including tennis in Miami

• Provide a safe, positive and reliable presence throughout the afternoon

Household Support

Help keep our household running smoothly through:

• Grocery shopping and light errands

• Walking our friendly dog

• Light tidying and afternoon preparation

• General family assistance as required

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be:

• Reliable, punctual and organised

• Trustworthy and safety-conscious

• Friendly, energetic and proactive

• Comfortable managing multiple tasks independently

• Experienced working with children (preferred)

Essential Requirements

• Current driver's licence (minimum Green P's/P2) with an excellent driving record

• Own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance

• Current QLD Blue Card (Working with Children Check), or willingness to obtain immediately

• Current Police Check, or willingness to obtain immediately

Pay & Benefits

• $35–$38 per hour (dependent on experience)

• Casual position with weekly pay

• Kilometre reimbursement paid at Fair Work rates for all driving undertaken during work hours

• Consistent weekday schedule
