Element Queensland Pty Ltd is a leading provider of Landscape and Landscape Maintenance services throughout South East Queensland.

 We have an outstanding opportunity for a focused and energetic Landscape Maintenance Leading Hand to join our division located in a large residential community and Commercial sites in South Brisbane and Gold Coast.

Reporting to the Operations  Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of all facets of Landscape Maintenance and  Soft Landscaping Services to our existing valued clients.

If you’re passionate about outdoor work, contributing to beautiful, functional green spaces and being part of a great team we also have a number of other positions available

1. Landscape Maintenance Leading Hand

2. Skilled Landscape Maintenance Technicians

3. Entry Level Landscape Maintenance Technicians
Department: Landscape Maintenance
Location: Gold Coast, Brisbane South


Key Responsibilities

🌿Landscape Maintenance - Leading Hand:

  • Perform mowing, brushcutting, pruning, hedging and herbicide spraying works

  • Perform daily toolbox talks.

  • Coordinate and manage operational staff.

  • Oversee the efficient execution of daily operations.

  • Complete daily jobs in computerised software.

  • Liaise with clients where required.

  • Ensure all staff comply with company policies and procedures.

  • Ensure plant and equipment are maintained in accordance with manufactures specifications.

  • Adhere to and promote company culture and good core values.

  • Attend performance management meetings for staff within your team.

  • Report to ops manager. 

🌿Skilled Landscape Maintenance Technicians:

  • Perform mowing, brushcutting and herbicide spraying works.

  • Perform other duties that may be assigned that are within your skill set.

  • Adhere to company policies and safe work practices.

  • Perform daily maintenance on minor plant and equipment. 

  • Report to team leader and or ops manager. 

🌿Entry Level Landscape Maintenance Technicians:

  • Learn to Perform daily landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, brush cutting, pruning, hedging and weed eradication.

  • Adhere to company policies and safe work practices.

  • Learn to Perform daily maintenance on plant and equipment. 

  • Report to team leader.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Knowledge of plants, pests and disease.

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Certificate 3 in parks and gardens or cert 3 in structural landscaping an advantage.

  • ADCD chemical certification is an advantage.

  • A willingness to advance within the company and an interest in increasing knowledge of the industry.

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience for leading hand or skilled roles similar to what is on offer.

  • Current drivers licence and own transport is essential.
