Bimbos Hair is seeking a Senior Hair Stylist to join our talented team at our Palm Beach salon. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor within our creative environment whilst delivering exceptional hair services to our valued clientele. As a Senior Hair Stylist, you will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards Bimbos Hair is known for, whilst also supporting the development of junior team members. This role offers the chance to showcase your expertise, build client relationships, and contribute to the continued success of our salon.

We are also seeking a 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice

Bimbos Hair welcomes applications from hair and beauty apprentices in their 2nd or 3rd year of training. This full-time apprenticeship position at our Palm Beach location provides valuable hands-on experience in a professional salon environment, allowing you to develop your skills under the guidance of experienced stylists and continue your formal training pathway.

Key responsibilities - Senior Hair Stylist

1. Deliver exceptional hair styling and colouring services to a diverse clientele with professionalism and expertise

2. Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat bookings and client satisfaction

3. Mentor and support junior stylists and apprentices, providing guidance and constructive feedback to develop their skills

4. Maintain high standards of salon cleanliness, hygiene and organisation at all times

5. Stay current with hair trends, techniques and products to ensure services remain contemporary and competitive

6. Manage appointments and time efficiently to maximise productivity and client satisfaction

7. Contribute positively to the salon environment and team dynamics

8. Follow all health and safety protocols and salon policies

Key responsibilities - 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice

1. Complete hair and beauty training under the guidance of qualified stylists and mentors

2. Perform assigned hair services under supervision, gaining practical experience and developing technical skills

3. Maintain high standards of salon cleanliness and hygiene

4. Support the salon team with general duties and assistance as required

5. Attend formal training sessions and meet apprenticeship requirements

6. Demonstrate willingness to learn and improve technical abilities

7. Contribute to a positive and collaborative salon environment

What we're looking for - Senior Hair Stylist

1. Completed hair styling qualifications or equivalent proven experience as a professional hair stylist

2. Minimum 3-5 years of professional hair styling experience in a salon environment

3. Advanced technical skills in cutting, colouring and styling techniques

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build client rapport

5. Proven mentoring or coaching experience with junior staff members

6. Knowledge of current hair trends and techniques

7. Excellent organisational and time management abilities

8. Professional attitude with a commitment to high standards of service and hygiene

9. Current First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain one

10. Passion for the hair and beauty industry

What we're looking for - 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice

1. Currently enrolled in a recognised hair and beauty apprenticeship programme (2nd or 3rd year)

2. Enthusiasm and genuine passion for hair and beauty services

3. Willingness to learn and develop technical skills

4. Professional attitude and strong work ethic

5. Good communication and teamwork abilities

6. Commitment to meeting apprenticeship requirements and formal training obligations

7. Reliability and punctuality

8. Attention to detail and commitment to health and safety standards
