Butcher & Boner - Equity Pathway Available

We're not hiring a butcher. We're looking for a partner.

Most shops want someone who shows up, follows orders and goes home. We're not like most butcher shops.

We need a butcher who sees this as a craft, not a job. Someone who has opinions about sourcing, aging and cuts. Someone who gets frustrated watching quality product wasted by shops that don't care.

What this role includes:

  • Full-time butcher and boner position

  • Real input on operations (sourcing, product mix, customer experience)

  • Performance bonuses for candidates who stay and deliver

  • Clear equity pathway for proven leadership

What you'll be doing:

  • Breaking down whole carcasses (beef, lamb, pork)

  • Precision cutting and boning to commercial standards

  • Contributing to product development and specialty cuts

  • Training and mentoring junior staff (if applicable)

  • Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years butchery experience (trade qualification preferred)

  • Strong boning and fabrication skills

  • Customer service mindset

  • Ideas about what makes a modern butcher shop work

  • Interest in building something, not just working in it

What this isn't:

  • Another dead-end job taking orders

  • Corporate butchery with no soul

  • A place where your ideas get ignored

Why join us:

  • Competitive salary + performance bonuses

  • Equity opportunity for the right candidate

  • Autonomy to innovate and improve operations

  • Small team, direct impact

To apply:
Tell us about your experience and why you're looking for something different. Don't just send a resume - tell us why this matters to you.
